Ayodhya case main litigant Mahant Bhaskar Das dead

Ayodhya: Mahant Bhaskar Das, the main litigant in the Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi case, passed away here in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.

Hashim Ansari, the oldest litigant in the case, had passed away in July past year aged 95. Mahant Bhaskar Das's successor Pujari Ram Das told TOI, "There are two original litigants in this case-Nirmohi Akhara and the Sunni Central Waqf Board". He was a good friend of Hashim Ansari, the oldest litigant and his opponent in the case, who passed away in July, last year.

As per the report by HT, Das was unwell for some time now, He was taken to the Harshan Heart Institute in Faizabad on Friday night after having severe breathing problems.
