Recent disasters hurry World of Warcraft to release this year's charity pet

Things are looking dire, with three hurricanes (Harvey, Irma, Jose) an quake, flooding in South Asia and the fires raging through the American countryside, it feels like we are living during the climax of a climate disaster movie like Geostorm.

Their partners are the American Red Cross and International Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) disaster relief funds, to whom 100% of your pet adoption fee will go. After purchasing the fox, it will be applied to all present and future characters on a single Blizzard account, and will appear in each character's pet and mount journal.

You can help relief efforts while bolstering your menagerie with World of Warcraft's newest adoption pet, Shadow the fox. Proceeds will be split equally between both organizations.
