As this is a leak we don't have official information about where and when this feature will be rolling out, but we have contacted WhatsApp for comment and will let you know official information once we have it. The desire to leave the planet and delete your existence is real at times like these.

But now reports say the text message service is set to launch a feature that would allow users to delete sent messages. Since the feature is in beta, everyone else will have to wait a bit until it rolls out. The dedicated recall server is now working and successfully deleting messages.

The highly reliable WABetaInfo revealed details of the feature on Twitter, highlighting differences between the way the Android and iOS versions of the app will handle message deletion.

Trump and first lady prepare to commemorate September 11
Rob Fazio has attended the ground zero ceremony each year since 9/11 - his father, Ronald Carl Fazio, was among the victims. Trump observed a moment of silence at the White House in remembrance of the almost 3,000 people who were killed.

The question that remains is that what's so great about this feature?

Also according to a screenshot tweeted by WABetaInfo, deleted messages will also disappear from the Notification Center on both Android and iOS. Others speculates that this might be an indication that the new feature will roll out sometime in June. Rumors about the WhatsApp Delete for everyone feature started circulating across the web when users noticed signs of this feature in WhatsApp's code.

The feature apparently already works for users who have rooted their phones. Do you want this feature?
