With the onset of fall, the season of Halloween and pumpkin spice is upon us. As Miguel learns, if his ancestors are forgotten in the world of the living, they vanish from the Land of the Dead.
When aspiring musician Miguel (voice of Anthony Gonzalez) ends up in the Land of the Dead in Disney•Pixar's "Coco", his family takes him to the Department of Family Reunions where a busy clerk (voice of Gabriel Iglesias) informs him that he's cursed. The trailer also introduces Hector, voiced by Gael García Bernal, and other supporting characters Miguel will meet during his adventure. The trailer gives us a longer introduction to Hector, as well as the supernatural creature Pepita, a spirit guide. My reservations about a movie that only has a few people of Mexican descent behind the scenes were put to rest by the filmmakers' dedication to research and authenticity - not to mention that adorable dog. Gorgeous visuals, a touching story, and plenty of laughs are sure to make Pixar's latest release one to remember, especially with a cast that includes the likes of Gael García Bernal and Benjamin Bratt.
Wonder Woman 2 has an official release date
Negotiations took months to finalize a deal for Jenkins' return. She is tasked to work on the screenplay with Warner Bros.
We can't wait to see Coco when it hits theaters on November 22nd.
The film boasts a insane talented cast including Gael García Bernal as Hector, newcomer Anthony Gonzalez as Miguel, and Benjamin Bratt as Ernesto de la Cruz, with Jaime Camil, Sofía Espinosa, Gabriel Iglesias, and Cheech Marin in supporting roles.
