5 dead after Florida nursing home loses power due to Irma

Five people are dead after the evacuation of a Hollywood, Florida, nursing home left without power after Hurricane Irma, officials said Wednesday morning. No information has been released on the conditions of the other residents.

Hollywood police did not immediately respond to a request for comment from PEOPLE. The building has been sealed off while police investigate. Multiple stretchers are also on site.

She didn't name the specific facility, although local media reports have identified it as the Rehabilitation Center of Hollywood Hills.
