The company cites LG's not-yet-released V30 as being first to Bluetooth 5 when both the Galaxy S8 and Note 8 already have it. Samsung would probably also disagree with LG's G Flex 2 getting a random shoutout for OLED technology. To this end, the chip maker has published a list of Android firsts that were made possible thanks to Qualcomm technology. Originally, the HTC One M7 was listed as having the first dual camera system and it actually was the HTC One M8 that was the first with a dual camera setup. Lastly, I don't quite understand how it's fair to include a non-commercial "Qualcomm Reference Design Handset" in any of these categories, but hey. Earlier this year, Apple sued the chipmaker for roughly $1 billion claiming that Qualcomm has been "charging royalties for technologies they have nothing to do with". As before, they'll continue to pave the way for others to come.
