The Moto G5S is backed by a bigger 3,000mAh battery and supports TurboPower fast charging technology.

Motorola's G5s Plus has a 5.5 inch 1920 x 1080 px IPS LCD display with a 401 ppi, the screen is protected by corning Gorilla Glass. Under the hood is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 octa-core SoC clocked at 2GHz and paired with Adreno 506 GPU. Internal storage of 32GB is provided but it can be expanded up to 128GB. The flagship Moto phone is expected to be announced at the "HelloMotoX" Facebook Live event at 6 pm PHT (3.30pm IST) on September 2, according to the post on Motorola's official Philippines Facebook page. Unlike the worldwide version, Moto G5S Plus is available only in the 4GB RAM+64GB Storage variant. The major change comes in the form of the dual camera setup at the back comprised of twin 13-megapixel sensors. The smartphone sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Storage can be expanded even via a microSD card for up to 128GB. The Moto G5S Plus will be available in two colors of gray and gold.

The biggest upgrade on the Moto G5 series is the dual-camera module on the Moto G5S Plus. One of the highlights of the Moto X4 is its dual-cameras, which is expected to feature two 13-megapixel sensors, offering enhanced features.

The Moto G5S Plus features a 5.5-inch full HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. A dedicated Depth editor allows for these tweaks, which make the experience more than just a simple dual camera setup. The cameras will come with features like HDR, Panorama, Geo-tagging, Face-detection, Macro-mode, Burst-Mode, Slow-motion mode etc. There is also video stabilization and can record 4K videos at 30 fps.

The primary camera gets a boost in terms of megapixels with a new 16 megapixel camera and an f/2.0 aperture. Motorola says that 15 minutes of charging is good enough to offer up to six hours of power. The fourth generation Moto X smartphone is a much awaited device as it comes out after a really long time since the last Moto X phone came out. The device runs Android Nougat 7.1 out of the box. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz+5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, micro-USB port, and 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone is already seen as a combination of the Moto Z2 Play and Moto Z2 Force - two of the company's premium devices of 2017.
