Nearly all the rumors about the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A turned out to be true - it even has flash near the front 5-megapixel camera, and also battery with capacity 3080 mAh battery and IPS screen of 5.5 inch with HD resolution. The "Low Version" of the device does not include a fingerprint scanner, while the two more expensive models do come with a fingerprint scanner which is placed on the back. The phone was launched at an event in Beijing.
The smartphone will feature dual-SIM capabilities and consists of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor.
The device comes with a peice tag of Rs 10,999 for the 3GB RAM+32GB storage model and Rs 12,999 for the 4GB RAM+64GB. It also supports external storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). The strengths of the Xiaomi Redmi 5A really lie in the pricing and the feature list.

While there are no outstanding features that will stand out in the phone apart from the camera, consumers will be interested in a reliable phone that will not break the bank.
