Capcom has dropped some fresh info on its upcoming crossover fighting game Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite today, including a new trailer that digs deeper into how the Marvel and Capcom universes have been fused together. In addition to single player Arcade, Training and Mission modes, a visually-stunning and immersive cinematic Story Mode will put players at the center of both universes as they battle for supremacy against powerful forces and a new villain. From Marvel, Dormammu and Ghost Rider.

Capcom also revealed some new: Offline, In addition to Story, Vs., and Arcade, there's Mission, where you can improve your skills with each character on the roster and Training, so you can better whip your buddies.

Or, if you're feeling skilled and lucky, there are "advanced character-specific challenges".

Vs. CPU - play solo against an AI-controlled opponent. Online modes include Ranked and Casual matches, a Beginners League for players ranked 14 and lower, an eight player lobby for simultaneous player-vs-player matches, rankings, and replay settings.

More details about these characters will apparently be revealed at the same time as the Gamescom event in Cologne, Germany next week.

The upcoming fighting game pitting the heroes and villains of the Marvel Universe and Capcom's legendary roster of video game stars already revealed that its story is going to be a freaky mashup of the two worlds.
