Bayley Removed From WWE SummerSlam; Tournament Set For RAW

The build to SummerSlam and four-way program with Brock Lesnar, Samoa Joe, Roman Reigns, and Braun Strowman has followed the Lesnar vs. Joe program in boosting ratings after record lows at the end of basketball season.

Instead, Monday night's edition of Raw will feature a pair of Triple Threat matches within the women's division.

A video released by WWE on Monday revealed that Bayley will be out of the August 20 SummerSlam card in Brooklyn, New York, due to a shoulder injury she suffered last week on Raw against Nia Jax.

This week, two of those four competitors were in action against each other.

A couple hours later, a new video with RAW interviewer Mike Rome confirmed Bayley will not be at SummerSlam due to a separated shoulder.

Sheamus (with Cesaro) def. Seth Rollins by roll-up after a distraction by Cesaro. The victor of each triple threat match will compete against each other at next week's, August 14, broadcast of RAW.
